The Party Wall Company was established in 2010 by Jason Hughes MRICS, FFPWS, MCIArb with the clear goal of “simplifying Party Wall Matters”.
After many years of working for Chartered Surveying Practices at senior level, Jason’s vision was to create a very customer-focused surveying practice. Having dealt with the Act since shortly after its inception in 1996, Jason wanted to help property owners in demystifying the Party Wall Act and the process.
We pride ourselves on providing a competitive service whilst maintaining the highest levels of professional practice and delivery. We never forget that although we specialise in Party Wall Matters, for most people the Act and the procedures can be a confusing and daunting experience when first faced with the requirements and obligations of the Act. We aim to always provide you with help and advice in an easy-to-understand, friendly manner, using plain English at all times.

The Party Wall Company is a specialist Chartered Building Surveying practice currently consisting of three experienced surveyors: Jason Hughes MRICS, FFPWS, MCIArb, Anthony Morris BSc (Hons) MFPWS and Phil Turner BSc (Hons) MFPWS. All three surveyors are supported by the Office Manager, Denise Hughes and PA Julie Preston.
We are regulated by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) who require stringent rules of conduct and ethics and provide the world’s leading professional qualification in land, property and construction. An independent organisation, the RICS acts in the public interest: setting and regulating the highest standards of competence and integrity among its members.
We carry Professional Indemnity Insurance as required by the RICS.
